BLESSINGS TO ZACH - We are so very grateful for our Ministry Intern, Zachary Wishart, as he has faithfully served our church family over the past year and a half. Please keep him in your prayers as he has accepted the call to become Youth Minister at Thorn Grove Baptist Church in Strawberry Plains, TN starting October 1.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to help provide a Snack Supper for children on Sunday evenings between Bible Drill/Bible Buddies and Children's Choirs. Please contact Bobbie Owenby if you can help.
YOUNG AT HEARTS will go to Beaver Dam Baptist Church at 6 pm on Tuesday, October 21. RSVP to Janice Sereano or Mary Stamps by Wednesday, October 15.
MEN - Mark your calendars for our first QUARTERLY BREAKFAST on Saturday, October 25 at 8 am! Come meet new people and join in Christian fellowship with other men. Our guest speaker will be Mark Bradley, Men's Ministry Director for the Knox County Association of Baptists.
Get ready for FALL FESTIVAL! Sunday, October 26, 5-7 pm - Invite friends and plan to help - and bring LOTS of CANDY!!! If you have a classic car you are bringing, please contact Jim McManus at 281-2278. HOMEMADE BAKED GOODS ARE NEEDED for our Fall Festival Cake Walk. Items need to be in disposable containers and labeled with a list of ingredients for allergy concerns. See Ashley Vandergriff or Robin Fugate to sign up.
ANGEL TREE CHRISTMAS PROJECT for Knox County Detention Facility and Knox County Jail Ministry needs your help! Would your Bible Study class or family be willing to adopt a child this Christmas? The Knox County Sheriff’s office needs help to minister to families of local prisoners. They need for groups or individuals to adopt a child and purchase a couple of gifts (not to exceed $50) for the child for Christmas. Names and gift suggestions need to be assigned by mid-November.
